We are currently hiring a contract Software Developer Analyst Intern to support our Information Technology department. This job posting is for an existing vacancy.
- Contract Term: This position will begin May 4, 2026, with an expected end date of September 3, 2027.
- Location: Administration Office, London, ON
The function of this role will be to develop and maintain enterprise software applications, providing credit union staff and credit union members with access to information in a cost-effective and timely manner.
Software Development:
- Specializing in the development of custom applications for deployment throughout the enterprise.
- Responsible for timely delivery of high quality, unit-tested software that meets requirements and design specifications.
- Analyze and interpret written business requirements and technical specifications and perform coding to written specifications.
- Develop applications that ensure the security of the internal network.
- Analyze and investigate software problems reported to development team and suggest potential corrections for issue.
- Responsible for performing maintenance programming and correction of identified defects.
- Analyze and advise the Software Development Supervisor on current development tools and their best uses.
- Research and review new technologies to understand and recommend where these technologies may help solve business requirements.
- Act as high-level support in the escalation of computer and application related problems to assist Branch and other Administration office staff.
- Assist in the recovery of computer systems to minimize downtime.
- Strong skills in any of these technologies: MVC, HTML, CSS, .NET, VB, C#, SQL, ASP.NET, JavaScript.
- Highly disciplined in the areas of coding and unit testing.
- Working towards completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
