Job Description
About LifestyleRx
LifestyleRx is pioneering the future of virtual healthcare, focusing on Type 2 Diabetes reversal. Our goal is to deliver 2M diabetic remissions, return 12M years of life to patients, and offset more than $250B in healthcare costs.
LifestyleRx is backed by Y Combinator, Susa Ventures and Funders Club.
Type 2 Diabetes and Prediabetes affect more than 30% of Canadians. Patients with Type 2 Diabetes have a 6 year shorter life expectancy and are at much higher risk for cardiovascular disease and cognitive decline. However, for many patients, Type 2 Diabetes is reversible. By implementing lifestyle changes with the support of a care team, patients can achieve diabetic remission and regain their full metabolic health.
Our program is covered by provincial health insurance in British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario. We hope to launch LifestyleRx in every remaining Canadian province in 2025. We also have an early presence in the US.
As we expand our reach, we are looking for passionate people to join our team who are excited about making a significant impact in healthcare.
Position: Senior Software Developer (Full Stack)
Location: St. Thomas, ON (In-person, see more info below)
Salary: $160,000-$200,000 + equity (depending on experience), with 4 weeks vacation and health benefits
Role Overview
As one of the first developers at LifestyleRx, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technology used by our physicians and patients every day. You will collaborate closely with our CTO to design, develop, and enhance the virtual care delivery tools used by our physicians, patients, and partners.
Many patients who complete our program reach the range for diabetic remission — which corresponds to many additional years of much healthier life. You will work with us to both scale our impact to more patients and continue to improve the quality of our outcomes.
