Marketing & Content Creation Coordinator
Salary Range: $48,000-$52,000

The London Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) is the lead economic development agency for London.? We work with business, government, academic institutions, and industry partners, to support the growth of existing businesses, and attract new businesses to London.
We are searching for a creative and driven Marketing and Content Creation Coordinator to join our team. This is a full-time position in London, Ontario working in the office M-Th with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Content Creation:

Develop, write, and edit engaging content for various audiences and platforms including website, blog, social media, email newsletters, magazines and press releases.

Create visually appealing graphics, videos, presentations, and other multimedia content to support marketing campaigns and business development initiatives.

Maintain and enhance LEDC’s website properties to keep information current, drive traffic and improve performance.

Curate and optimize content for specific social platforms to increase engagement and adhere to platform policies.

Monitor social media channels for engagement opportunities, sharing and supporting news from partners, clients, and the business community.

Perform copywriting duties across multiple communication platforms for both internal and external audiences from web content, digital media, corporate communications and newsletters.
Marketing Strategy:

Assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing strategies to promote LEDC’s programs, services and events.

Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for content creation and marketing initiatives.

Research and evaluate digital advertising opportunities.
Public Relations and Outreach:

Assist in the development and distribution of press releases and media kits.

Coordinate and attend events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to represent LEDC.
Analytics and Reporting:

Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns using tools like Google Analytics and social media analytics.

Prepare regular reports on content performance, campaign effectiveness, and ROI.

Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing and content creation.

Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.

Proficiency in graphic design and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Photoshop).

Savvy with social media and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).

Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of juggling multiple projects at once, and balance competing priorities

Creative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Familiarity with newsletter software such as MailChimp.
