You will facilitate and guide the team in visualizing work, managing flow, and improving delivery predictability. Your role is to foster transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement while helping the team remove impediments and optimize their workflow. You will nurture a trusting and safe environment that enables high performance and sustainable delivery.

What you will do:

  • Facilitate Kanban-specific events such as Replenishment, Delivery Planning, and Service Delivery Reviews, ensuring full team engagement.
  • Support the Product Owner (or Service Request Manager) in prioritization and flow management, helping maintain a healthy backlog and clear policies for work selection.
  • Monitor and improve flow metrics (e.g., cycle time, throughput, WIP, WIP Aging, lead time) to drive predictability and transparency.
  • Remove impediments and protect the team from distractions, enabling smooth flow of work.
  • Foster collaboration across all team members, encouraging cross-training and mutual support.
  • Guide and coach stakeholders outside the team to understand how their interactions impact flow and delivery.
  • Promote continuous improvement through regular retrospectives and data-driven discussions, using metrics and feedback loops.
  • Hands-on with JIRA and Confluence to ensure Kanban boards and work items are accurately maintained.
  • Reinforce an Agile mindset focused on evolutionary change, enabling the team to adapt processes incrementally.

Who You Are

  • Strong understanding of Kanban principles, metrics, and practices, as well as other Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to promote innovative thinking and continuous improvement within teams.
  • Skilled in data-driven coaching, using flow metrics to identify bottlenecks and optimize delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts and influence stakeholders.
