Digital Marketing Account Manager

 

The Team: 

The Markit Digital Advertising team is a team of digital marketing and financial services experts. Our unique targeting capabilities allow us to respond seamlessly to market, and other data driven events. With over 4000 data feeds we can dynamically embed market or other types of data into our creative, allowing unique and dynamic campaigns.  

 

The Impact:  

The Account Manager role is an essential part of our Digital Marketing team. Combining digital marketing and client facing experience they build strong relationships with our clients and foster growth with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide excellent customer service for all campaigns.  

  • Ensure client health, retention, stability and delight for Digital Media clients  

  • Ensure healthy and growing client relationships, brainstorm new opportunities, prepare and lead client presentations and complete quarterly Partnership Reviews  

  • Listen to client cues related to upsell and cross-sell opportunities.  

  • Identify possible challenges we can improve upon to strengthen our relationship and grow the client. Identify and clearly communicate any risk to internal stakeholders 

  • Ensure completion of all contracted work such as satisfying all contract requirements, managing scope and providing timely client communication   

  • Work with Production Manager to exceed client expectations as we implement campaigns.  

  • Ensure clients receive both detailed and executive summaries after each presentation.  

  • Meet with publishers consistently to hear the opportunities they are offering and pass them to advertisers if appropriate.  

  • Partner with Business Development to create new marketing collateral and pitch materials, brainstorm opportunities, and lead presentations. 

  • Utilize memberships with IAB, NAI, FCS. Where applicable attend conferences, participate in working groups, etc. to further the industry.  

  • Initiate conversations with the team around industry trends and opportunities 

 

What We’re Looking For: 

  • 10+ years of professional experience, 5+ years in a client facing role 

  • 5+ years in Digital production and services. 

  • Outstanding communication, presentation, leadership, and relationship building skills 

  • Experience in the Financial and/or Digital sector strongly preferred. 

  • Experience guiding team(s) with problem solving, removing barriers and addressing challenges in support of project execution and delivery. 

  • Proven analytic and problem-solving skills including a thorough understanding of how to help teams interpret customer business needs. 

  • Strong collaborative nature to build cross-team relationships. 

  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills. 

  • Passion and curiosity to thrive in innovative, collaborative, fast paced environment

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only): 

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $A to $Z. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.  

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.
