HR Generalist

ZTR is searching for an outgoing and driven HR Generalist to join our small but dynamic HR team! In this role you will gain diverse experience in all areas of HR from employee engagement and recruitment to employment law and health and safety.

As the HR Generalist, you will:

• Champion and promote the organization’s mission, vision, values, goals and strategic initiatives
• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process including: creating and promoting job postings, scheduling and conducting interviews and reference checks, and presenting employment offers.
• Coordinate and facilitate learning and development opportunities in-house or with external vendors as required for employees and the leadership team
• Facilitate employee onboarding
• Participate in Corporate Committees including Health and Safety, Social, and Community Giving committees
• Collect and analyze human resources data
• Ensure compliance with employment related laws/practices
• Assist with payroll and benefits administration
• Administer the HRIS including onboarding, training, performance management, etc.

We are looking for:    

• 3+ years of experience in Human Resources (including recruitment, employee relations, compensation, training, performance management)
• Post-Secondary Education in Human Resources Management or related discipline
• CHRP/CHRL Designation
• Effective leadership and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strategic minded and results-oriented
• Easily builds trust and confidence with people in an authentic and genuine fashion
• Ability to manage multiple HR initiatives in a fast paced environment
• Confidence to present to large groups
