The Director, Technology Finance plays a lead role in delivering on our financial obligations providing transparency and decision-making options to our business and technology partners. In this role, you will be responsible for producing timely, high quality and relevant internal reporting for senior leaders that will influence the strategic direction of our organization.
What you will do:
- Manage & review annual expense budget; recommend targets through iterative predictive approach.
- Analyze and create presentations to enable decision making
- Analysis, and review monthly, quarterly, and annual expenses providing actionable insights (actual vs. budget)
- Execute, maintain, and continuously improve technology finance reporting, tools, and processes
- Own process change by driving collaboration across the technology segments to generate efficiencies
- Lead special/ad hoc projects, as required.
What you will bring:
- 10+ years of relevant, related experience
- University degree
- CPA or equivalent Accounting Designation
- Ability to build collaborative partnerships
- Ability to explain results so shareholders can understand the performance of the company, as well as providing service to various senior level stakeholders
- Responsible to developing the team and training up the next leaders
- Strong communication skills to interpret complex information for varied audiences (public, shareholders, regulators, analysts, Executive management groups, etc).
- High level of ability to influence and persuade across wide array of segments to bring reporting under one, consolidated, direction.
- Quick thinking, analysis and ready recommendations to senior manager
- Articulates meaningful expectations, and creates clear pathways to desired outcomes
- Leadership and people management skills to help others navigate through change, engage and motivate employees
- Ability to work within a highly time sensitive culture with multiple deliverables, often on the same timeline and requiring the significant use of judgement.
- Ability to analyze, dig, explain, communicate and report results in a reliable manner where reporting can be depended to be on time to senior leadership, the Board and external stakeholders
- Ability to anticipate, analyze and respond to a rapidly evolving and complex environment.

The base salary for this position is between $92,100.00 - $170,500.00 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
