Position Description:

We are looking for Senior Quality Assurance Analyst – Team Lead to contribute to both manual and automated testing for product migration and enhancement projects.  Activities will include planning, execution, documentation, and automation of tests, along with team supervision and support, defect management, and test data management.  You will report to the QA Manager and engage in a variety of different quality assurance activities. 

The successful candidate will be committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience by ensuring high product quality and usability. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as demonstrated attention to detail and critical thinking skills.   

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prioritize, and perform appropriate types of software testing for changes and enhancements to LBMX’s software applications, and report issues as required. 
  • Create clear test documentation and defect reports using available tools and resources. 
  • Collaborate with other members of the QA team, the Development team, and others as required. 
  • Lead QA work on assigned projects and contribute to associated planning, direction, and reporting.
  • Take ownership of tasks as assigned, with minimal supervision. 
  • Review process documentation and test results. 
  • Review product specifications and provide feedback. 
  • Contribute to automation testing on applicable products. 
  • Conduct test reviews/audits. 
  • Support the enhancement of quality processes and procedures. 
  • Provide supervision, direction, and support for Junior and Intermediate members of the team. 
  • Report on project and team progress. 
  • Participate in hiring processes when applicable.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in software quality assurance. 
  • Experienced in writing test cases, executing tests, and documenting defects. 
  • Strong communication, problem solving, and documentation skills. 
  • Sound organizational and planning skills with consistent attention to detail. 
  • Able to use SQL queries to identify and maintain test data. 
  • Workplace experience with front-end automation testing, along with knowledge of Java and JavaScript is preferred. 
  • Familiarity with Cypress is an asset.
