Position Overview

As an Inside Sales Representative you will be supporting all aspects of Sales, including assisting with developing new business across multiple geographical territories and generating sales along with servicing existing clients. Day to day, you will be responsible for following up with all inbound leads that have less than 500 participants, and you will carry out the full sales cycle for outbound opportunities with less than 500 participants. You will be relied upon to work in tandem with the marketing team to implement and enhance inbound marketing strategies. This position requires flexibility as we respond to new business and customer requirements, while being able to quickly adapt to new strategies and priorities as they evolve.

This position is open to internal and external candidates.

Product Line 

This role will be working on/with the Race Roster product.

Work Location

The successful candidate for this role can be either a satellite employee (working 100% remotely from a designated location within Canada or US). Or, a hybrid employee (flexibility to work in the office or from home at a location within 75km/75 miles from the London, ON/Boston, MA office).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct full sales cycle for both inbound and outbound prospects
  • Follow-up with inbound leads of 500 or less participants
  • Cold call and qualify leads of 500 or less participants
  • Source lead lists and potential leads from the internet to add to Salesforce
  • Ensure leads, along with mandatory leads fields, are accurate in Salesforce
  • Qualify leads and craft a custom prospecting sequence for each
  • Prospect a minimum number of leads per week as agreed upon by your Sales Manager
  • Achieve and surpass sales prospecting key performance indicators (KPIs) as agreed upon with your Sales Manager
  • Achieve minimum qualified appointment setting targets;
  • Keep abreast of the endurance industry as it relates to the Race Roster products
  • Understand current Timer technology and its relationship with the Race Roster product
  • Meaningfully participate in diversity and inclusion initiatives across the ASICS Apps teams

Education & Experience

  • 1 – 2 years of inside or outside sales experience
  • 1 – 3 years of experience in a professional services environment
  • 1 year of cold calling experience (any type)
  • Proficient in target-based environments (KPI’s)
  • Tech-savvy
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong organization and data management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Bonus Education

  • Diploma, Bachelor’s degree or higher is a preference
  • Previous work experience with Salesforce/Marketing Cloud platforms strongly preferred

The successful candidate for this role, if located in Canada, will become an employee of Race Roster North America Corporation (RRNA), if located in the US, they will become an employee of ASICS Runner App (ARA). RRNA and ARA are subsidiaries of ASICS Corporation, a Japanese multinational corporation. Race Roster was founded in London, Ontario in 2011.
