Job Description
We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Distribution Compensation & Reporting team, situated in three locations across Canada (Toronto, London & Winnipeg)..
As a Business Analyst you will use your technical expertise to provide automations, problem solving and reporting for the Contracting and Compensation teams and our business partners.
What you will do:
- Participate in department projects that may involve system or process changes.
- Design, test and implement business requirements for all product lines and distribution channels.
- Create, convert, analyze and update databases, tools and automations using Power BI, Excel, Power Apps, VBA, SQL and related tools.
- Recommend solutions and act as a liaison with departmental and divisional team members.
- Analyze impact of proposed solutions across the business
- Work with management and department leaders to identify and prioritize process improvements to streamline processes.
- Provide ad-hoc data analysis, validation, and reporting.
- Perform and support recurring reports, processes, and tasks.
- Develop & execute on acceptance test plans.
- Analyze and apply logical reasoning to assess ideas, decisions, and results.
What you will bring:
- Post-secondary Degree/Diploma in Business Administration or technology-related field preferred. Computer science/programming background an asset
- 2+ years in a role with business, financial, or data analysis experience.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team, collaborating openly to meet changing priorities.
- A self-starter who takes initiative, demonstrates good attention to detail, and is able to handle multiple priorities with competing deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
- Demonstrated ability to understand, organize, and make sense of data and develop reports/ information
- Strong working knowledge of Power BI, Power Apps, VBA, and SQL as well as MS office tools is required.

The base salary for this position is between $50,400.00 - $83,900.00 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
