As we build out our external client facing Learning Solutions practice, we are looking for another Manager, Learning Solutions to help us grow to the next level and meet the growing demand for our products. As a Manager, Learning Solutions you would lead and develop a small, collaborative team that creates engaging, high-quality guides, job aids, infographics & tools covering topics relevant to Human Resources and Leadership teams. You would also provide practical guidance and insight through over the phone advisory service and facilitate roundtables or webinars.

The Manager, Learning Solutions is responsible for leading the production of varied, high-quality research-informed resources to support development of HR professionals and people leaders, while managing a small team of Learning Solutions Research Analysts and ID. They also conduct advisory calls.
Key Responsibilities:
As a manager, you will be responsible for:
Cycle Management:
- Lead the creation of innovative, practical research led learning content that support HR professionals or people leaders through their ongoing development
- Create & manage cycle project plans, including identification of critical activities, focus of topic and prioritization of work as appropriate.
- Evaluate and manage the ongoing quality of content
- Participate in ongoing peer review to give and receive constructive feedback to continuously improve quality of projects.
Process Management:
- Collaborate with Learning Solutions leadership team to identify the research agenda
- Guide the development of McLean thought models in the HR & Leadership development space
- Design, manage & iterate the Learning Solutions processes
People Management:
- Coach project team members to achieve project goals, objectives, and develop craft skills.
- Motivate, empower, and manage the performance of team members.
Client Management:
- Deliver client-facing subject matter expertise, insights, and advice through advisory & meeting support calls

Essential Skills/Education:
- 3+ years HRBP or TM experience
- 2+ years of people management skills
- Strong project and time management skills.
- Collaborative, with superior listening, critical thinking, and writing skills.
- Ability to conduct and synthesize primary and secondary research.
- Proven critical thinking and analysis skills, with the ability to generate insights independently.
- Proven ability to create frameworks around fuzzy or unstructured topics to enable direct reports to create tangible solutions to leadership / HR challenges.
- Thinks beyond the confines of traditional models to generate insights, recognize opportunities, and find new and better ways to do things.
- Ability to coach and provide feedback.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and pivot as necessary.
- Comfortable speaking with HR & Leadership clients and experts in an advisory capacity.
- Demonstrated ability to make informed decisions that demonstrate a broader scope of contextual and business understanding, rather than just an HR focus.
- Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, flexible, rapidly changing work environment.
- Intellectually curious about the effect of learning on the business landscape, with a passion for continuous learning.
- High degree of proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, as you will be working in this daily.
Desirable:
- A specialized degree or diploma in Business, Psychology, Human Resources or Adult Education.
- University degree
- Global experience
- CHRL, CPTD or similar HR / training professional designation.
