What You’ll Do
Our Compliance Team are experienced research and writing professionals who can dive into complex legislations and pull-out key concepts to then transcribe into digestible pieces for our clients.
As the HR Compliance Manager you will:
- Manage workflows and day-to-day performance of the compliance team to ensure efficiency and meeting role expectations.
- Provide feedback and guidance to the compliance team, through coaching and mentoring when auditing work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Support the Director of Research and Content and the Production Manager with the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training of staff.
- Review assigned team goals within the performance management system to ensure alignment with the overarching business goals and company objectives.
- Prepare reports related to the outcomes, barriers, and successes of the compliance team.
- Support with data analysis required to make strategic decisions regarding our library.
- Develop, implement, and execute compliance content development strategies to support the mission of the position.
- Oversee compliance content development and maintenance, including existing and new content for the organization, ensuring compliance and alignment with legislation as well as industry best practices and trends.
- Partner with department managers and leads to ensure the ongoing development of enhancements to new content development.
- Grant final approval on all compliance content for publishing, translation (if required), graphics, and formats.
- Ensure that project and department goals are met and adhere to approved budgets.
- Collaborate with the Director of Research and Content and the Production Manager to define content strategies, plans, and priorities.
- Be accountable for content published on HRdownloads.com.
- Oversee compliance content-based tickets and ensure that they are addressed.
Requirements
About You
You are an HR or legal professional who:
- Has 3-5 years progressive people management experience.
- Showcases a people-first leadership style with an emphasis on active coaching, continuous learning, and collaboration.
- Has successfully completed a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a related field.
- Has 5+ years of comprehensive and demonstrable experience working with Canadian legislation.
- Has extensive professional writing experience with an emphasis on legislative requirements regarding HR policies and best practices.
- Has experience maintaining project management expectations and executions.
