What We’re Looking For

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Account Manager to join our team!

The Account Manager is responsible for assisting with the promotion of the company, ongoing maintenance of client relationships, planning of solutions, identification and acquisition of new clients, and coordinating the design and development of 10-15 projects simultaneously. With the support of their account team, the Account Manager is also responsible for orchestrating the appropriate client experience for 5 to 15 client accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a positive and partnering relationship with all clients by acting as the main client contact for executive project sponsors providing these clients with high-value solutions.
  • Take the lead role in assisting in building the client’s business and generating new strategies for agency-client partnerships.
  • Act as main client contact for the project team leader from the client-side.
  • Lead project team members, agency resources, and project workflow process.
  • Offer support in authoring project documents (i.e. findings, recommendations, technical specifications) with the assistance of other team members where necessary.
  • Influence the client to make clear, quick, and concise project decisions.
  • Provide clear communication between the client and the web development team.
  • Managing the tracking of budget for projects, generating and delivering invoices to clients where applicable
  • Seek out speaking engagements and community networking events within targeted business verticals
  • Solicit and create interactions with key decision-makers within targeted business verticals
  • Support in the completion of RFP opportunities
  • Attend short-list presentations to pitch your solution

Knowledge, Education & Experience Required

  • 4+ years of experience in professional-client relationships and project management
  • Prior experience working at a web/marketing agency in an account management role.
  • Successful completion of a post-secondary program in a relevant field (e.g., marketing, advertising, public relations, communications, business).
  • Exceptional relationship management skills; ability to listen, understand, empathize, communicate constructively and connect well with clients.
  • Ability to acquire a valid passport and the interest to travel in North America.
