About the role: 

The Global Pricing Manager (GPM) is responsible for setting and managing price for Trojan’s portfolio of products from introduction to end of lifecycle, enabling value capture and sustainable growth.  This position is part of the Strategy & Marketing team based in London, Ontario and will be a remote position with requirement to travel 25% of the time.


In this role, you will: 

  • Identify growth opportunities across new and existing product lines and customer segments through effective management of price and discounting (including rebates, promotions)
  • Conduct competitive product value proposition analyses in collaboration with Marketing and Product Management, to set target prices and pricing corridors that maximize value capture throughout lifecycle of Trojan’s products and services
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Product Management on new pricing initiatives outside current operating practices to capture untapped customer segments
  • Lead regional price reviews to drive results and support key pricing decisions at regional levels, working with Regional GMs, Sales, Finance, Business Operations
  • Leverage the Danaher Business System (DBS) and best practices to improve pricing processes and cross-functional engagement, including updates to tools, training and messaging to support implementation of commercial strategies

Are you qualified? The essential requirements of the job include:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business field (e.g. Marketing, Finance, Business, Product Management)
  • 5+ years of experience developing and implementing pricing strategies, with B2B and B2C businesses
  • Proven financial and analytical skills e.g. price realization, elasticity, NPV, ROI, gross margin, including ability to summarize and present business insights
  • Ability to leverage data from multiple sources, to prepare analyses and dashboards (e.g. Excel, PowerBI, Salesforce)
  • Commitment to building and maintaining healthy cross-functional relationships to support the development and implementation of diverse and inclusive strategies that result in sustainable growth

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: 

  • The water sector, working with customers, products and services in Municipal, Industrial and/or Residential markets
  • Collecting customer insight and working with Sales in global markets

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 CAD . This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.


This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
