Role Overview
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you’ll play a key role in gathering, standardizing, and summarizing complex financial data to drive strategic decision-making. Your insights will guide management and executives in identifying trends, uncovering operational efficiencies, and determining resource allocation to enhance Info-Tech’s financial outcomes.
This position demands critical thinking, clear communication, and agility amid rapidly shifting priorities. You will often create new analysis from the ground up and will have the opportunity to be innovative in your approach. Data will come from multiple systems, and will need to be validated, reconciled, and synthesized into an actionable format.
We’re looking for a well-rounded individual with the ability to methodically compile large data sets, sound judgement and strong financial analysis and presentation skills. You will be evaluated by your ability to produce accurate reports with the right balance of detail to highlight the story behind the data.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to improve internal financial reporting quality and timeliness
- Report KPIs and metrics in a visual format to track the success of business initiatives
- Identify trends and patterns in large datasets to generate insights
- Develop and update data models for scenario analysis and business planning
- Ensure reporting and analytics consistency by standardizing data across systems and timeframes
- Aid in implementing new systems and processes for enhanced financial reporting and analysis
Education & Experience
- University degree in accounting and/or business
- CPA designation strongly preferred
- 5-10 years of experience in corporate finance and/or public accounting
Skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience analyzing large datasets and providing recommendations
- Strong communication written and oral communication skills
- Skilled in Microsoft office Suite's PowerPoint, Excel & Word
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI is an asset
