The Sales Administrator is a vital link between commercial teams and customers, working to ensure orders from our commercial staff are translated into invoices for customers efficiently and accurately. They will partner with commercial teams to review upcoming sales opportunities for accuracy and completeness, proactively resolving issues, and ensuring deals adhere to corporate standards. The fast-paced environment requires multitasking, superior organizational skills, strong customer focus, along with excellent written and oral communication skills.


Responsibilities

  • Generate Invoices for customers in a timely manner, and with a high degree of accuracy
  • Review orders from commercial employees for accuracy
  • Collaborate with and provide updates to Commercial Leadership
  • Keep potential opportunities, new customers, and contact information up to date within Salesforce
  • Work with peers to continuously improve processes
  • Work closely with the commercial organization in areas of pricing, deal structure, and approvals
  • Create and deliver training for peers
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed


Education

  • College Diploma and/or University Degree an asset 


Knowledge and Experience:   

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in an administrative role
  • Experience with commercial processes is an asset
  • Experience working in Salesforce preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and communication skills.
  • Customer service oriented and collaborative, with excellent follow-through and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt easily and quickly to changing priorities, responsibilities, needs and expectations.
  • Must possess strong analytical, critical thinking, sound judgement, and decision-making skills
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to work toward tight deadlines
  • Ability to solve problems and work independently
  • Training facilitation experience is an asset
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office products
