Developer
Alimentiv is searching for an experienced Full Stack Software Developer to join our team. You will help us enhance our existing products and play an active role in creating new solutions that provide our global customers with secure, innovative solutions.

You are:
Someone who loves to program, solve problems, and find new ways to do things. You like to collaborate with other developers and product development stakeholders but can work independently with minimal supervision and get things done. Some ways of doing things work better for you but you’re open to learning or trying something else because you’re flexible and agile. You’ve worked on commercial projects before, but you are interested in a career in life sciences. You take your job seriously, but you always have time for a smile and laugh with your co-workers.
What we need (the technical stuff):
· University degree in Computer Science, College diploma or equivalent experience. We have a strong academic history and value formal education but if you’ve spent your time managing open-source projects or selling apps online, we still might be interested in talking to you.
· Strong experience in Node.js / Javascript, Python, HTML, CSS, Angular / React
· Proficient in the use of SQL and relational databases like MySQL & Postgres
· Skilled in cloud-based development (e.g. AWS (preferred) /Azure/Google.)
· Basic Linux system administration experience
· Experience with standard development methodologies, revision control and bug tracking systems like Github or Bitbucket
The nice to have’s (more technical stuff):
· Experience with Medical Imaging / Image Processing: use of DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) standards, OpenSlide
· Working knowledge of Apache / NGINX
· Hands on experience with Perl and Scala
· Have worked with Waterfall and Agile development methodologies.
· Knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, software as medical device (SaMD)
