Product Analyst

Autodata Solutions, a division of J.D. Power, is looking to add a Product Manager to our team!

Position Overview:

This Product Analyst will work closely with the sales team, clients, and internal client support roles to elicit, analyze, and validate customer feedback and translate them into business and functional requirements. The PA will be responsible for gaining and maintaining a thorough understanding of product offerings and providing best practices and knowledge to support the design and implementation of our products. 

The Product Analyst will apply proven communication, analytical, problem-solving and facilitation skills to help support the product development process and ensure that product deliverables are met according to the vision and scope.  

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Product Portfolio Directors and product sponsors to clarify/refine scope, vision, and priorities
• Assist in refining product backlogs and sprint planning exercises
• Provide, product briefs, market analysis, competitor analysis, trend analysis, pricing analysis, and revenue analysis to stakeholders
• Work with internal departments to procure and present product financials
• Collaborate with Product Planning and Marketing team to support product launches
• Conduct interviews and product analysis to understand and assemble quality user requirements via workshops, questionnaires, site visits, workflows, user stories, scenarios, etc.
• Work with internal stakeholders to ensure product readiness through pre-launch and launch 
• Build and maintain relationships with the internal product team and supporting departments

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience
• Experience in an Information Technology environment
• Experience in supporting product creation and growth efforts in an analyst type role
• Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and SDLC
• Demonstrated knowledge and use of business analysis methodologies and tools
• Good understanding of PC skills and hands-on experience in creating diagrams and presentations with the Microsoft suite of products
• Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and able to exercise independent judgment, take action
• Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills
• Excellent active listening, interviewing, oral communication, documentation/writing and diplomacy skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
• Strong customer service skills
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
