Technology Consultant - Information Technology Services - PACS/DI-r

Qualifications
  • Successful completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a 3 Year Certificate/Diploma in Computer Systems Technology 
  • Minimum five (5) years recent experience in project management or systems support
  • Advanced in depth knowledge of HL7 and DICOM integration, migration and development
  • Advanced knowledge of PACS/DI-r solution architecture, inclusive of all hardware and software components
  • Advanced knowledge of programming languages and data:  Oracle, C/C++ C#, Java, VBScript, PHP, Perl, JavaScript, COBOL, Java Servlet, Pascal, Sparc Assembly, SQL, XML, XPATH, XSLT,HTML, HL7, DICOM
  • Demonstrated experience with industry- standard operating systems including Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016, Windows 10, IOS, android and Linux
  • Demonstrated knowledge of PACS and Diagnostic Imaging Repositories including Health Information Access Layers, Portals/DI Viewers, Clinical Data Repositories, and integration with provincial and regional solutions and services
  • Demonstrated knowledge in Active Directory and Group Policies
  • Works with software application and hardware vendors to understand and influence current state design and functionality, future directions and how they can evolve to continually meet customer needs
  • Strong skills in process-centric thinking

  • Advanced organizational skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities and ambiguity
  • Advanced communication skills (both verbal and written)

Immunization Requirements:
  • Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/ Diphtheria/Polio; Meningitis. 
  • Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step)
