What We’re Looking For 

We are looking for a Sr Director of Marketing to join our growing team and lead the marketing strategy for the Northern brand, both internally and externally through demand generation initiatives and brand awareness activities, in turn generating inbound leads for Northern’s full range of agency services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead marketing strategy for Northern including primary responsibility for maintenance of the Northern brand
  • Drive demand creation and lead generation in developing qualified sales leads and crafting brand awareness
  • Plan, develop and execute Northern content across multiple channels such as website landing pages, blog articles, advertisements, email marketing, and press releases
  • Plan, direct and coordinate marketing efforts in partnership with events, webinars, workshops, and speaker panels
  • Communicate with external partners to coordinate joint content and co-marketing initiatives
  • Plan and manage the monthly expense and budget of campaigns
  • Ensure all campaign materials adhere to brand image and voice standards
  • Manage team members; taking responsibility for their job satisfaction, engagement and career success by developing their skills through coaching & mentoring
  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new marketing team members

 

Qualifications:

  • 5 - 7+ yrs of proven working experience in Marketing or Communications within an organization, preferably in marketing, commerce or technology
  • 3 + years of experience of people management
  • Knowledge and experience in various marketing platforms for analytics, advertising, email marketing, and CRM
  • Knowledge of performance marketing strategies such as paid media (eg. Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) and email automation (eg. Salesforce, Marketo, etc.)
  • Experience copywriting and copy editing for B2B and enterprise audiences
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Solid knowledge of website and content management tools
  • Proficient in the fundamentals of graphic design and the functionality and utilization of the extended Adobe Suite.
  • Presents a portfolio with examples of successful growth case studies, marketing content and campaigns.
