We’re looking for a new member to join our pack as an Office Coordinator/Administrative Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for all administrative tasks related to day to day operations including assisting with invoice payments, payroll and administrative related tasks.

This role will report directly to the CEO and we are currently hiring remotely for anywhere in Canada.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Day-to-day admin and HR related responsibilities
  • A/P invoice payment and reconciliation
  • Following up with Ops management for hours verification of fulfillment staff and pull hours reports to provide to finance
  • Validating hourly staff hours with managers and uploading it to payroll vendor/finance
  • Requesting all onboarding documents from new hires and creating folders and providing necessary information to payroll vendor
  • Submitting all vacation/termination paperwork to payroll vendor on as required/monthly basis
  • Assisting in onboarding contract staff, tracking/reporting, and payment process with AP coordinator
  • Assisting CEO with HR related tasks including updating employee handbook, contract exts, offer letters, screening interviews, etc.,
  • Help organize team social good events in the community (i.e. volunteering at dog shelters, donation drives, etc)
  • Team socials/customer events
  • Ad-Hoc tasks as required

What you bring to the table:

  • 1+ years of experience working as an administrative assistant, receptionist, office coordinator and interest in growing their career in people or business operations
  • Strong ability to multitask and prioritize - excellent time management skills and highly organized
  • Positive “can-do” attitude and strong customer service mentality - you exude high energy and thrive with working with others
  • Solutions driven mentality - you can identify areas where processes can be improved and act on them
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Tech savvy, comfortable tools such as G-Suite, Slack and Asana
