The Role

As a Marketing Automation Specialist, you will build effective marketing automation solutions that will support lead generation and revenue growth.  You will help Marketing deliver targeted and timely email campaigns and build automated programs to fuel our inbound funnel. In this role, you will be working closely with multiple stakeholders within Sales, Operations, and Product/IT departments to support integrations, build and manage program assets, execute campaigns and report on results.

Major Responsibilities

  • Build marketing automation programs and assets including landing pages, forms, automation rules, email lists, and Salesforce campaigns. Periodical scrubbing of dated marketing assets in Pardot such as engagement studio programs, lists, files and images, email templates etc.
  • Use email validation tools (ZeroBounce, Everest) to clean up email lists for marketing and sales email campaigns
  • Assist with webinar campaign deployment, testing, and registrant and attendee data analytics
  • Support the execution of content distribution and engagement email programs, while managing email compliance, bounces, opt-outs and providing input on email metrics in Pardot, Salesforce, Salesloft and Everest.
  • Provide support to users of the marketing technology stack including creation of user guides, FAQs and answering users’ questions in group chats and training sessions
  • Support the implementation of new systems and their integration into the technology stack, including testing application performance, data sync and data accuracy
  • Support the Marketing Operations team with troubleshooting and prevention of various data issues (sync errors, Salesforce workflow issues, lead assignment errors, automation rules misconfiguration and more).

 

Education and Experience

  • 2-3 years of experience in marketing automation/operations, including at least 2 years of hands-on experience with Pardot, ideally within a B2B context.
  • Good knowledge of Excel including data sorting and filtering, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and VLOOKUP formulas
  • Experience with Salesforce reports and dashboards
  • Experience with Salesloft and email validation tools would be a plus
  • The ability to prioritize tasks based on the impact they have on colleagues and KPIs.
  • A data-driven mindset, a proactive attitude, and great problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Extreme attention to detail to ensure all deliverables are well-built and tested
