Product Marketing Manager 

Founded in 2005, Voices is the largest online marketplace for audio and voice over products and services that’s home to 1 million business clients and voice actors from 160 countries around the world. Its flagship website, www.voices.com, records approximately two million unique visitors annually and has enabled over 300,000 transactions to date. 

 

Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing this role will develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for product launches and feature roll outs. The Product Marketing Manager will also be responsible for the positioning and messaging of products including, product descriptions, feature descriptions, pricing strategy, and customer communications. Of equal importance, The Product Marketing Manager will  enable the sales team to communicate the value proposition of the product to customers, ultimately driving adoption. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Own a portfolio of products and features including product names, logos, descriptions and pricing
  • Own the marketing of portfolio of technology brands including VoiceMatch, SurePay, VoiceMarketplace, VoiceRank and Top 100
  • Writing product positioning statements and outbound messaging for products and features
  • Manage listings of the website and mobile apps, specifically Apple AppStore and Google Play
  • Respond to feedback and reviews on the Apple AppStore and Google Play
  • Write communication plan for feature launches and product launches
  • Development and execution of the go-to-market strategy for feature and product launches
  • Scheduling and running of pre-launch meetings and the minute-by-minute launch day plan
  • Identification of decision making unit (DMU) and the creation of buyer personas
  • Development of product stories (use cases) written as a storyboard and delivered in demos
  • Scripting of product videos and scripting of product webinars
  • Presenting on webinars or in videos as the product expert
  • Planning, scheduling and ensuring smooth execution of product webinars
  • Write product release notes and quarterly “seasonal” product email newsletter and blog post
  • Development and communication of sales enablement tools, collateral and demonstrations
  • Collaborate on the Voices Insider Program, a group of advocates knowledgeable of the product
  • Collaborate with fellow Product Marketing Managers, Product Managers and Product Owners
  • Deliver monthly report via Google Slides to the Leadership Team including the Founder / CEO

 

Required Skills

  • 3-5 years experience in a product marketing or brand management role
  • Phenomenal collaboration skills with an effortless ability to influence without direct authority, and to quickly build and continually develop internal relationships both within the marketing department and with other departments in the company
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write effectively for multiple audiences, to deliver compelling presentations, and interact confidently with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Strong data analytics and storytelling skills 

 

Required Technical Skills

  • Experience with modern project management tools such as Asana, Atlassian's Confluence and Jira
  • Familiarity of Apple AppStore, Google Play and mobile marketing channels
  • Proficiency in Tableau, Google Analytics or other analytics tools
  • Knowledge and background in Salesforce is a strong asset, but not a requirement

 

Location

  • The Voices.com office is located in London, ON; however, remote work options are available
  • There is a requirement of minimum 1 day in office per week and a requirement of the candidate living 2-3 hours from London, ON
