Job Type: Part Time 

Location: Canada - Remote

Reports to Title:  Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition 

 

The Role:

The Senior Technical Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for delivering an exceptional candidate experience throughout our entire recruitment process. This individual will be responsible for leaning on their experience in developing recruitment and sourcing strategies through detailed market research to identify prospective candidates. Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct recruiting kick-off/strategy meetings to set expectations and maintain communication throughout the recruiting process
  • Network and build strong relationships with hiring managers by providing strategic guidance and advice
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop candidate profiles for a multitude of technical, data, and Senior positions
  • Sourcing high caliber candidates on an ongoing basis through a variety of mediums and sourcing methodologies.
  • Partner with the TA Mgr. and create and implement DE&I recruiting strategies 
  • Attend DE&I and Recruiting events
  • Identify passive candidates by pro-actively sourcing, profiles on social media, networking, and other methods for recruiting and attracting qualified candidates
  • Conduct in-depth behavioral interviews to assess qualifications, technical skills, and level of interest
  • Educate candidates on all aspects of the organization including position details, products & services, recruitment process, 
  • mission/vision/values, office culture, etc.
  • Ensure the recruitment process is completed in a timely manner, and efficient, therefor minimizing the time to hire
  • Act as the candidate liaison throughout the recruitment process and provide ongoing status updates to the TA Manager, Hiring Managers and candidates
  • Extend and negotiate offers
  • Establish strong relationships with team members to find solutions, build trust, and support the team
  • Learn and understand our business and roles in all geographic locations

 

Qualifications: 

  • College or University education in a related technical and/or human resources field
  • 10+ years of strategic experience hiring for technical positions across US & Canada
  • Experience creating various recruitment strategies
  • Proficiency using Applicant Tracking Systems (Greenhouse a huge plus)
  • Experience using social media platforms for sourcing (LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, Instagram, Twitter etc.) and online job boards
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills to effectively work with candidates, hiring managers, technical staff, and executive-level management
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to keep hiring managers and other stakeholders informed on candidates and their statuses within our recruitment process
  • Understanding of HR confidentiality practices and requirements
