Job Details

The Research & Insights Intern will help execute and analyze research to help CARFAX Canada make better business decisions. The intern’s work will focus on both B2B and B2C projects, including understanding our customers and car owners in general, public facing research to support our sales team and Driving Insights program (http://www.carfax.ca/insights), and evaluating potential product and website enhancements. To succeed at this role, you need to be comfortable diving into a pile of data, being excited about your conclusions, and being confident sharing your results. This role reports to the Manager, Research & Insights, and is part of the CARFAX Canada marketing team.


Position Responsibilities

  • Create surveys targeted at CARFAX Canada's B2B/B2C customers as well as car owners in general
  • Execute experiments and user testing to evaluate potential marketing and product solutions
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data collected through surveys, user testing and other research
  • Create compelling reports and dashboards communicating research results to stakeholders
  • Assist with other analytics and reporting as needed

Who you are

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program in a field related to marketing and data analytics
  • Experience conducting research, analyzing data, and turning results into recommendations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to determine appropriate research and analysis approaches for a variety of problems
