Junior Project Coordinator (Production)

The Junior Production Project Coordinator is mainly responsible for assisting with WinAir’s production activities as related to software development. Working closely with the Production Project Coordinator, you will have an opportunity to coordinate software releases and other production-related projects. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and energetic individual who is looking for growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with Business Analysts, Developers, Quality Assurance, and Production managers to ensure the participation of cross-functional teams in furthering release and project success. With organization and prioritization skills, this candidate will organize the necessary pieces to ensure project success.

 

NOTE: This opportunity has a full-time remote option for candidates residing in Canada.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assist with the product roadmap.
  • Coordinate software releases and carry out administrative duties related to releases.
  • Coordinate release post mortems and provide results to the production management team.
  • Create and monitor manager escalation tasks.
  • Daily follow up on development items.
  • Ensure that stage-gate processes are adhered to.
  • Coordinating submission of Scientific Research & Experiment Development (SR&ED).
  • Assisting the Production Project Coordinator with administrative functions and processes .
  • Managing day-to-day activities for the Project Management team.
  • Month-end reporting and metrics.
  • Ad hoc duties as required.

Qualifications

Required
  • Post-Secondary education in business, project administration, or related discipline
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Superb organizational skills with high attention to details
  • Solid time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Preferred
  • Previous experience in a software development environment is an asset.
  • Familiarity with project management applications (e.g. Confluence, Jira, etc.) is an asset.
