By investing in our Vikings and in new technologies, we can continue our success for years to come.

We are embarking on an adventure and rely on our team of skilled, enthusiastic, and collaborative Vikings to turn our ship towards a new horizon.

About the Role:

Big Viking Games is looking for a data-driven Business Operations (BizOps) Analyst to join our team and help optimize how we operate across departments— from production and art to engineering and finance.

Reporting to our VP of Product, you’ll analyze company-level data, build dashboards that track operational performance, and identify opportunities to improve workflows, tooling, and resource allocation.

Reporting into the central operations function, this intermediate-level role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex business problems with data and wants to see their analyses directly influence how we build, ship, and support our games.

You’ll help drive smarter decisions across production velocity, cost management, and workflow efficiency—while strengthening our culture of data-driven operational excellence.

What You’ll Do:

Operational analysis & reporting

  • Track and analyze company-wide KPIs (production velocity, software spend, project costs).
  • Evaluate efficiency in internal pipelines (art asset creation, QA turnaround time, campaign cycles).
  • Partner with Finance and Operations leaders to model ROI and identify cost-savings opportunities.

Process optimization & automation

  • Build dashboards that visualize team efficiency and highlight improvement areas.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and automate recurring reports
  • Identify inefficiencies in tools, subscriptions, and process handoffs—and quantify their impact.

Cross-functional collaboration

  • Work closely with leaders in Art, Product, and Production to understand time and cost drivers.
  • Present findings and recommendations in clear, actionable summaries for leadership.
  • Support experimentation with new systems, workflow automation, and process design.

Requirements

The Must-Haves:

  • 2–4 years in BizOps, FP&A, or data analysis (consulting or gaming a plus).
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail, so you’ll notice we’d like you to mention "Kattegat" in your application.
  • Solid SQL skills and experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills and business acumen.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply First Principles thinking to analyze and solve complex problems.

The Nice-To-Haves:

  • Experience with cost optimization, workforce planning, or process mapping.
  • Familiarity with workflow automation or project management tools (Asana, Monday, Jira).
  • A passion for improving team efficiency and operational systems.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary
  • Group Retirement Savings Plan matching & participation
  • Comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, and vision) including Health + Wellness spending account
  • Generous time off policies
