Human Resources Administrator
 
ABOUT THIS POSITION

Digital Extremes is seeking a Human Resources Administrator to join our team! The Human Resources Administrator will be responsible in the administration of the day-to-day activities of the HR department.


RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for providing effective and efficient administrative 
  • Maintain HR records for employees and all staffing movements such as hiring, health benefits , onboarding etc.
  • Support talent management process in job postings, screening, interview arrangement, running reports
  • Administer the HRIS (Ceridian Dayforce) including data entry, onboarding, training, performance management, etc.
  • Conduct orientation for new employees by sending onboarding information, reviewing company policies, gathering withholding and other payroll information, explaining perks and benefit programs, and obtaining signatures for documents
  • Administer group health benefits by enrolling new employees, updating employee information, updating employee status
  • Prepare confidential correspondence including offers, contracts, and employment letters
  • Run reports as required and maintain utmost confidentiality in dealing with employee information and company files
  • Research, collect data, and deliver results for various HR projects
  • Initiate background checks and references checks as needed
  • Provide onsite support and back up for to the Receptionist, Office Assistant and Facilities Manager as needed
  • Assist in organizing meetings and recording meeting minutes as needed
  • Assist with ordering company swag and mailing equipment, prepare new hire boxes, and employee appreciation items 
  • Assist with in-house or off-site activities, like parties, celebrations and conferences
  • Monthly birthday amazon gift cards
  • Ordering food and decorations for office and events
  • Decorating studio space for various events
  • Assist with DE draws and prizes
  • Assist with ordering meals, gift cards etc.
  • Assist with ordering company swag and mailing equipment, prepare new hire boxes, and employee appreciation items 
  • Assist with ordering OT meals, gift cards etc.
  • Assist with Confluence, seating map updates, desk assignments, parking assignments for employees, assisting with mail as required 
  • Other administrative and data entry tasks as assigned
  • Back up for Office Assistant as required 
REQUIREMENTS
  • Post-Secondary Education in Human Resources Management
  • 2+ years of experience in HR Administration
  • Knowledge of employment and benefit-related laws and regulations
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to pivot quickly and adapt to rapid change
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects within given timelines
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Strong technical skills: create hyperlinks, formatting, layout design, and print configurations in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • CHRP designation preferred
  • Onsite or Hybrid in our London Ontario office
