Libro has an opening for a passionately accountable IT Security Analyst who will overlook two core functions for the Credit Union. The first is handle day-to-day operations of the in-place security solutions while the second will include identification, investigation and resolution of security breaches detected. Additional tasks could include oversight of implementation for new security solutions, participation in the creation and/or maintenance of policies and procedures as well as conducting vulnerability security audits and assessments. The IT Security Analyst is expected to be fully aware of the Credit Union’s security goals and to actively work towards ensuring the Credit Union is protected against cyber security threats. – Could you be Libro?

The Epic Human we are looking for will:
  • Participate in the planning, design and implementation of enterprise security architecture, under the direction of the Senior IT Manager, where appropriate
  • Recommend additional security solutions or enhancements to improve overall security measuring against standard best practices
  • Monitor all in-place security solutions for efficient and appropriate operations
  • Review logs and reports of all in-place devices and interpret the implications of that activity and devise strategies for appropriate resolution
  • Participate in the design and execution of vulnerability assessments, penetration tests and security audits
  • Participate in the creation of security related documents such as policies, standards, baselines, guidelines & procedures
  • Maintain up-to-date detailed knowledge of the IT security industry
  • Provide HelpDesk support and afterhours on-call availability for all of Libro’s in-place security solutions
Qualifications:
  • College Diploma or University Degree in the field of IT Security and/or Networking, and/or 5 years’ experience in an IT related field which encompasses Security and/or Customer Service
  • CISSP certification or working towards its completion within the first 3 months
  • Strong working knowledge of Security Best Practises, Networking  and Vulnerability assessments 
  • Strong and effective troubleshooting skills, and be responsive to customer needs.
