The Manager Strategic Initiatives, Digital Experience plays a key role ensuring Canada Life’s digital capabilities meet the needs of advisors, customers, and employees.
Reporting to a Director, Product Owner, this role will act as a connector and enabler across teams to help maximize the value of Canada Life's digital experiences. This role is primarily responsible for aligning our portfolio of agile digital initiatives with business objectives and customer outcomes, from ideation and design through delivery, managing change and benefits realization.
What you will do
Champion value and drive business objectives and customer outcomes by helping define, measure, and report on digital experience KPIs.
Help develop and manage a benefits realization framework for digital experiences.
Influence and enable high-conviction decisions by providing product owners and other leaders with actionable data, insights, and recommendations.
Quickly create compelling artifacts (KPI scorecards, decision briefs, user experience and roadmap diagrams, etc.) using data to facilitate stakeholder collaboration and alignment.
Provide input through early and late stages of the project/product lifecycle including user experience design, high-level requirements, go-to-market strategy, organizational change management and post-launch support.
Develop and advocate for continuous improvement in performance and value management processes.
What you will bring
5+ years of experience in product management, strategy, user or customer experience, business analysis, or similar roles responsible for defining and measuring customer and business outcomes.
Analytical mindset with the ability to quickly interpret data, create and manage dashboards, synthesize and present insights, and translate findings into actions.
Demonstrated ability to communicate, influence and mediate effectively between business, technology, design and other domains at all levels of the organization.
Familiarity with a diverse range of product, project and portfolio management methodologies, especially as they apply to prioritization and roadmapping in an agile environment, value and performance management, and benefits realization.
Openness and adaptability with a track record of proactively adopting new skills, responsibilities and ways of working to suit changing needs.
Insurance, wealth management or other financial industry experience preferred.
Financial acumen is a plus.

The base salary for this position is between $96,200- $146,200 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
