The Role: 

The Media Production Review Senior role is responsible for coordination of the review technicians and tasks in the review bucket of work. To consult with the Audit Lead for development of review processes and training collateral and training processes. To work with the manager and supervisors for the coordination of staff and internal process. To do media production work and review work in peak seasons.

The Impact:

The Media Production Review Senior role is critical to the post-production process. The coordination of the staff and the work is necessary to meet important launch dates for vehicle manufacturers and marketing website launches. The maintenance of the pipeline and the development of the production team is crucial to the success of meeting our departmental and company goals.  

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain applicable style guide and training documentation
  • Collaborate with production staff and suggest corrections in their process to ensure process is followed and image accuracy as defined in current style guides is achieved
  • Maintain department paint/color libraries
  • Assist in archiving and organizing photography files for all auto manufacturers (year, model, make)
  • Maintain our workflow tools (Jira) with accurate and complete comments and work hour logs
  • Collaborate with supervisors regarding process changes
  • Collaborate with supervisors regarding work assignments and dept. priorities
  • Set and monitor staff work assignments as directed by supervisors
  • Provide feedback to supervisors on employee performance when requested
  • Collaborate with the Media Assets Lead to ensure accuracy of images and assets in databases and end products

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the Production Review Technician role or other industry relevant experience
  • Formal or semi/formal training in graphic arts is an asset but not required
  • Good communication skills (written, oral and presentation) with the ability to train concepts and mentor/coach employees
  • Formal or semi/formal training or related experience in leadership is an asset but not required
  • Be receptive to quality control feedback (accept criticism and advice)
  • Demonstrate a high degree of understanding the past and current department processes
  • Ability to organize and facilitate meetings (e.g. agendas/notes)
  • Complete work on or before required deadlines
  • Provide insight and suggestions for the development of department processes
  • Solid understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
  • Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously
  • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
  • Exceptionally self-motivated, directed, and detail-oriented
  • Availability to perform periodic overtime
