London Hydro is looking to add a Contract SAP Specialist to its core team. London Hydro is currently working on a major transformation project reimplementing the current ISU ECC solution in S/4 HANA.
The ideal candidate will bring their technical experience and skills and focus primarily on integrations development across the various SAP IS-U business processes.
Your responsibilities will be to act as London Hydro SAP Specialist for the S4 implementation project as well as support the current SAP PO system. You will actively participate in the project implementation assisting with the requirement gathering, design validations, fit, gap assessment. You will also assist in QA of solution design, development review, troubleshooting during the UAT and assist with cut over and stabilization after go live.
In a steady state post implementation, your role will involve providing production support and expertise in resolving issue, provide governance on changes, timely implementation of regulatory changes and various ongoing enhancements and projects, to streamline, optimize and design processes.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Your responsibilities as SAP Specialist will include:
- Gain knowledge as an IT SME and gain a good understanding of the integrations that support various business processes.
- Liaison with the Business SME(s) to gain an understanding of their requirements, understand cross module impacts and providing solutions adhering to the out-of-the-box approach, wherever possible.
- Design, Develop and Deploy end-to-end integration solutions using SAP PO.
- Work on integrations and maintaining the necessary system documentation.
- Carrying out solution design and blueprinting to deliver robust integrations that take into consideration accepted industry practices.
- Supporting the ongoing integrations to ensure smooth, efficient business operations and contribute in changes from the various PMO projects or enhancements as needed.
- Work on integrations migration from SAP PO to Integration Suite.
- Perform other duties related to the above job purpose.

This is primarily a developer role that require hands on development experience along with the following:
- Successful completion of a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Hands-on experience in interface objects development including message mappings (Standard mapping, Java mapping, etc.), value mappings, content-based routing, and exception handling.
- Experience with integration development using various adapters like SFTP, JDBC, JMS, SOAP, REST, RFC, Proxy, OData, etc.
- Experience working with data formats like JSON, XML, and CSV.
- Experience working with different security protocols and encryptions.
- Strong monitoring and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with interface development in SAP Integration Suite.
- Hands-on experience in migrating integrations from SAP PO to SAP Integration Suite.
- Experience in conversion of java mapping to groovy scripts.
- Open to learn and support non-SAP software such as StreetSweeper, VLTrader, etc. for end to end integration maintenance.
- Write technical specifications for interfaces.
- Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
- Communicate complex and technical issues effectively to business users.
- Work with a high degree of independence and able to pick up skills and knowledge on the job.
- Communicate well, orally and in writing, while using good interpersonal skills.
- Contribute and work effectively in a team-oriented environment that includes internal as well as multiple vendors.????
- You will bring overall 5 years of strong Integration development experience - preferably in SAP Process Orchestration and SAP Integration Suite.
ASSETS
- Basic understanding of SAP IS-U business processes.
- Experience working in NWDS, NWDI and custom adapter module development.
- Experience with ABAP development.
