Hybrid Work Schedule: Mandatory in-office days are Tuesday and Thursday but may be requested to be in-person as directed by the Manager.

Note: This is a part-time temporary Support position starting August 6, 2024 and ending August 15, 2025 (up to 24 hours per week).

Position Summary

The part-time Marketing Coordinator works on a variety of traditional and digital marketing projects in collaboration with colleagues from across the Reputation and Brand Management department. These projects may range from developing and executing marketing campaigns for internal departments to special initiatives as determined by the Senior Manager of Marketing to meet College strategic priorities. The incumbent will contribute to the annual marketing plan, coordinate market research, report on campaign KPIs and champion the College brand. The ideal candidate has excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, understands the basics of paid and organic digital marketing techniques, is data-driven, and has a passion for marketing.

Duties:

 
  • Coordinate and execute marketing plans for various audiences, contributing to the College’s goals and strategic priorities
  • Coordinate all aspects of marketing execution workflow – gathering/writing required elements, collaborating with other teams, staying on budget and meeting deadlines.
  • Collate and conduct industry research, benchmarking, competitive scans for planning purposes.
  • Create or collaborate with other teams to produce content including copywriting, writing for the web, writing for email marketing, basic video (mobile only), etc.
  • Assist with website content audits, keyword research and updating web pages based on SEO recommendations in our Drupal CMS .
  • Communicate campaign objectives, timelines, instructions for use or promotion, and deliverables to various parties. Conduct digital campaign testing, such as A/B or multivariate testing, to maximize click-through and conversions.
  • Track and report key performance metrics using data analytics tools to drive traffic and optimize lead generation.
  • Other projects, duties and initiatives as assigned.
     
Qualifications

Minimum Educational Requirements:

 
  • 3-year diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications or related discipline
     
Minimum Experience Requirements
 
  • 3-years of work experience in a Marketing Coordinator or similar position
  • Hands-on experience with:
     
? creating integrated marketing campaigns leveraging paid and organic channels,

? conducting keyword research and audience targeting,

? updating a website using a CMS (preferably Drupal),

? email marketing and automation, and

? building campaign reports and communicating results.

 
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high motivation to learn
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to organize and communicate data
  • Understanding of brand, tone, stakeholders and target audiences
  • Good time and project management skills in a hybrid environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
