As an Associate Automation Engineer, you will be at forefront of implementing automated solutions within ServiceNow for both business and IT processes. This pivotal role involves implementation and administration of ServiceNow to result in more economical and faster processes using Automation.

 As an Associate Automation Engineer, you will:

  • ServiceNow Administration: Serve as and Application administrator/developer for ServiceNow.
  • Requirements Gathering: Understand user, process, functional and technical requirements.
  • Compliance: Adhere to Incident Management, Change Management, SOX and PCI processes. 
  • Provide on call support after hours and weekends
  • Integration : Assist with integrating ServiceNow with ServiceNow with other tools and solutions.
  • Standards and Procedures: Help develop, document and implement enterprise standards and procedures. 
  • Collaboration: Assist in bridging the gap between the business and infrastructure teams.

Requirements:

  • Graduation/Post Graduation in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field is desired.
  • 2+ years of experience as ServiceNow developer/administrator with ability to analyze and troubleshoot ensuring the health and maintenance of ServiceNow platform.
  • 1+ years of experience in REST API.
  • Understanding on Windows and Linux Operating Systems.
  • Experience and proficiency in IT Service Management and IT Operations Management.
  • Proficient in at least one scripting language such as PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with SOX, CIS and other regulatory standard is beneficial.
  • Ability to trouble shoot issues, provide end-user support, and offer necessary training.
  • Proficient in creating and maintaining documentation as well as generating reports.
  • Write clean, efficient and maintainable code, conduct code reviews and quality control checks. with strong familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile.
  • Up to date knowledge with emerging trends in ServiceNow
  • Knowledge of Control-M and Chef administration is a plus.
  • Additional skills important for this role to possess includes proven problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, effective time management skills, and ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
