SUMMARY:

 

Huron is seeking a strategic individual to implement and onboard Huron’s campus-wide systems, including Salesforce CRM solution that manages the full student journey. Reporting to the AVP, Admissions & Institutional Systems, The Director will lead a team of Salesforce Administrators, Developers and Data Analysts that support business units across the organization to deploy, customize and maintain current and future phases of Salesforce.

 

The individual will have experience in big data systems and advanced project management skills with a track record of successful project design and implementation.

 

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Strategic oversight of the Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) System for the institution, ensuring that the technology is being leveraged to its maximum potential and is in alignment with Huron’s strategic goals. Responsibilities include three key areas:

 

 

Leadership:

  • Identifies, quantifies, and prioritizes opportunities for technology enablement across the institution.
  • Clearly communicates project scope and outcomes to team and implement key performance indicators to keep teams on schedule timeline.
  • Effectively navigates challenges and guides team through implementation challenges.

 

Change Management:

  • Brings implementation opportunities forward for consideration by unit leaders and senior leadership.
  • Translates and communicates CRM technology enablement into how it supports business practices.
  • Collaborates with units and offices to gather and analyze operational information.
  • Prepares change management strategies to meet implementation and CRM usage goals.
  • Consults with unit leaders to identify and manage anticipated resistance.
  • Creates communication and training plans to enable smooth implementation of the strategy.
  • Tracks implementation progress and report back to management.
  • Coaches managers and supervisors to improve implementation communication.

 

Process Optimization:

  • Employs industry best practices (i.e., Six Sigma) to map and optimize business processes with the goal of increasing adaptation of the CRM.
  • Develops a business plan to meet organizational needs that includes an implementation roadmap that recognizes early adopters as well as pockets of resistance for completion and identifies prioritization and resources required.
  • Works with team and software consulting partners to lead software implementations, including gathering requirements, writing use cases or user stories, creating process flow charts, testing new functionality, and training business users on the same.
  • Works with medium to large consulting firms focusing on cloud computing-related consulting.
  • Continuous learning of additional Salesforce functionality, technologies, and methods to maintain all current functionality and improve services on both small and large scales.
  • Trains users on Salesforce functionality related to their department and create related documentation.
  • Chairs Huron’s CRM Steering Committee and informs members of changes, benefits, and opportunities for innovation while maintaining system structure to allow for future developments.
  • Develops and maintains documentation on policies, procedures, and projects.
  • Provide feedback on processes and identify functions that could be improved.
  • Provides support to Senior Leadership and business units on institutional data requests and access to information and facilitates data-informed decision-making.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Undergraduate degree or a business technology-related diploma, from an accredited institution.
  • 5+ years experience managing CRM for a multi-unit organization.
  • Experience leading a team.
  • Project management experience
  • Experience in a business analysis environment with the ability and curiosity to identify trends and anomalies as well as present data to senior leaders in the appropriate format.
  • Experience supporting organizational change.
  • Understanding of organizational data (post-secondary data experience is an asset).
  • Knowledge of information security practices and related privacy laws such as FIPPA.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve effectively and use good judgement in all decisions.
  • Energetic, collaborative, and adaptable.
  • Excellent time management skills and a demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to always maintain tact and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with individuals at every level of the organization.
