Position Summary
Reporting to the Global Sourcing Director, the Sr. Global Sourcing Manager, Key Technologies is responsible for engaging business budget owners to drive both short-term and long-term sourcing activities. These activities include strategic sourcing projects, contract management, supplier negotiations, and relationship building. You will play a key role in influencing global supply chain strategies, driving cost savings, and ensuring seamless procurement operations globally. Your efforts will have a significant impact on Trojan Technologies’ "Key Technologies" category, which includes Lamps, Electronic Drivers/Ballasts, PCBA’s, and Quartz.

This position is part of the Global Sourcing team and is located in London, Ontario, Canada, or Guelph, Ontario, Canada. This role is eligible for a hybrid/remote work arrangement.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

• Leading strategic sourcing initiatives, including supplier management and negotiations, to drive cost savings and improved performance.
• Cultivating and maintaining strong supplier partnerships to ensure continuous improvements in quality, delivery, cost, and service.
• Partnering with Veralto and other operating companies to design and execute global procurement strategies.
• Monitoring global market conditions and using data-driven insights to refine sourcing strategies.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 to 10 years of procurement/category management experience.
• At least 5 years of global sourcing experience in a global manufacturing company.
• 5+ years of experience leading global value sourcing projects.
• Experience working with R&D, New Product Development & Engineering teams in a product/project environment.
• Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems (experience with Baan or LN is a plus).
• Experience with electronic sourcing tools such as RFI, RFQ, and Reverse Auction.
