Human Resources Assistant (Maternity Leave Contract)
 

GCW is looking to add to our Administrative team!

 

What we are looking for in a Human Resources Assistant:

  • Excellent people skills required to communicate effectively with employees
  • Quick thinking and problem-solving skills are required
  • Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
  • High level of confidentiality is required
  • Great organizational and time management skills
  • An individual with a positive and friendly attitude 
     

Some requirements of the role would include:

  • Ensure employee records are up to date and maintained in an orderly fashion
  • Provide support to the HR department and all employees related to HR questions, issues and concerns
  • Administer the company Health and Wellness Benefit programs
  • Participate in the recruitment process by assisting HR management from beginning to final onboarding of successful candidates
  • Assist in the preparation of meetings as required
  • Provide administrative support to other departments as required

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • College diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources or equivalent
  • Less than 1 year of relevant work experience in an administrative assistant role is required
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in MS Office applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
