About the role: 

 

As a Commissioning Project Manager at Trojan, you will help our customers meet their water quality objectives by guiding them through the equipment installation process and managing the startup activities required to achieve a sustainable solution. 

This is a hybrid role based at the Trojan Technologies headquarters in London, Ontario, Canada and requiring travel when needed.  If you are customer focused and thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, read on to learn more about this opportunity.

 

In this role, you will: 

  • Cultivate key customer relationships by interpreting their needs and requirements through contract and specification reviews.   
  • Plan successful projects using detailed plans, accurate budgets, and open communication for multiple projects in parallel. 
  • Provide product installation support by reviewing installation documents from customers and present solutions as required, to ensure site readiness for commissioning.
  • Solve problems, evaluate systems and/or processes to isolate root causes and implement corrective actions as required. 
  • Communicate found solutions to internal stakeholders as needed, to meet customer requirements and drive product improvements.

 

 

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • 2 to 5 years Project Management experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (mechanical, electrical, P&ID).
  • Experience working with external Contractors and Engineers.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, sales and operations to help resolve site specific difficulties.
  • Experience utilizing continuous improvement to drive change, foster efficiencies, and fuel growth.

 

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience: 

  • Setting and meeting aggressive objectives with prioritization skills and ability to recognize/escalate issues appropriately.
  • Post-secondary education in a related technical discipline is an asset.
  • Knowledge of water treatment plant processes is an asset.
