Technical Analyst - Microsoft 365 Solutions

The Technical Analyst is the technical subject matter expert for Microsoft 365 solutions. They play a key role in the procurement, installation, maintenance, and support of the overall Microsoft solutions (applications and infrastructure). The Technical Analyst assists in the analysis and provisioning of new solutions to meet the clinical and business needs of the organization.

The Technical Analyst provides an advanced level of technical support, including troubleshooting, testing, system problem resolution, ticket escalation to vendor(s), and research on technical options. They support the workflow of solutions by providing knowledge transfer and teaching to the end users, and will build solutions for individuals, departments, or the organization, on occasion.

Regular Full-Time

Rate of Pay: $39.92 per hour - $49.89 per hour

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week

Qualifications

 
  • Successful completion of a College Diploma in Computer Systems Technology or related field; or equivalent experience as acceptable by the hospital
  • Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
  • Minimum three (3) years recent, related experience in project management or systems support
  • Demonstrated advanced experience managing Microsoft 365 systems including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
  • Advanced experience in collecting requirements, analyzing options, and building solutions using Microsoft’s Power Platform
  • Experience in PowerShell programming/scripting is an asset
  • Proficient knowledge in modern networking infrastructure
  • Experience with clinical processes, nomenclature, and the hospital environment an asset
  • Strong skills in process-centric thinking
  • Advanced commitment to customer service
  • Advanced organizational skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities and ambiguity
  • Advanced communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Advanced ability to work cooperatively as a team and to facilitate meetings and workgroups

Immunization Requirements

Before beginning employment at LHSC, all new hires will be required to: 

  • Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/ Diphtheria/Polio; Meningitis; 
  • Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step); 
  • Provide proof of Health Canada-approved COVID-19 vaccination reflective of Ontario Health’s current definition of being fully vaccinated
