THE OPPORTUNITY
Our learning experience designer is adept at envisioning and creating engaging, informative, and highly effective learning courses for a diverse audience.
As our learning experience designer, you will:
- Construct highly creative and detailed program, module, and course plans and storyboards that leverage our online offerings.
- Design interactive, impactful learning experiences for our clients. This includes writing scripts for training courses, creating diagnostic tools, and experimenting with new, innovative learning methods and models.
- Incorporate adult learning best practices and principles into online training modules to achieve an engaging and transformative learning experience for the targeted audience.
- Work with a variety of course authoring and development tools to transform scripts into engaging and interactive content on a wide range of HR-related topics, including health and safety, wellness, and leadership.
- Use primary and secondary data, industry trends, best practices, and innovations in other industries to drive a world-class learner experience and advise on new learning solutions as they present themselves.
- Learn from analogs in other industries and find ways to bring those analogs into both the HR advisory and learning
You are an individual who:
- Is an extremely creative, out-of-the-box thinker who has an eagerness to learn and experiment! You are always looking for the simplest and most efficient processes that yield the highest quality product/service.
- Is a continuous meta-learner interested in any and all topics.
- Has the ability to research and collaborate to create engaging material on both technical and non-technical topics with the help of multiple stakeholders.
- Has a strong technical aptitude and experience using different technologies and software to create engaging and eye-catching material using Articulate 360. You don’t shy away from learning new software on an as needed basis.
- Has visual design skills (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator) and experience with storyboarding.
- Can diversify their writing, shifting tone from instructional to business to creative with the goal of creating transformative learning content that keeps learners wanting more.
- Can self-manage and is comfortable taking initiative to drive positive change.
- Has at least three (3) years working experience in an instructional or e-Learning role.
- Has a university degree or a college diploma in human resources, business, the humanities, or a related area of study. A comparable combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Understand HR management trends and best practices.
- Are experienced or interested in creative writing (e.g., screenplays, novels, short stories)
- Are fluent in French!
