Clinical Systems Support - PathNet team

Responsible for the efficient design, building, testing, and maintenance of varying aspects of the OneChart system to satisfy clinical user and systems requirements; escalating to senior position as required (Business Systems Analyst). This position will provide support to the Cerner Millennium PathNet application.

Qualifications

 

As the ideal candidate, you have:

  • Two (2) year Community College Diploma in Clinical focus designation, Information Technology or focus relevant to the supported application or equivalent experience as acceptable by hospital
  • Registration/licensing, where regulatory body exists
  • Three (3) years recent and related work experience in a Laboratory Medicine setting or Information Technology
  • Previous experience with Cerner Millennium applications including PathNet preferred
  • Experience with established applicable clinical processes, nomenclature and hospital environment
  • Demonstrated ability to assimilate a large quantity of diverse information and apply analytical skills to identify, understand and problem solve in a technology-based environment
  • Knowledge of and ability to use, troubleshoot and test a variety of software applications (Microsoft Office Suite, electronic health applications) as relevant to the role
  • Excellent commitment to customer service
  • Proficient communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to the principles of patient and family centred care
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to patient and staff safety
  • Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC’s Mission, Vision and Values
  • Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
