What You’ll be Doing:

You will be responsible for the Cloud Application, Gateways and 3rd party integration work within the organization. You will be working in the IoT field on our telematics devices which communicate locomotive information to our cloud platform. You will become the resident expert and owner of our cloud service and we will look to you to bring in software standards, ownership and make recommendations where you see fit. You’ll be helping to mentor and coach other Developers through best practices and breaking down tasks.

For this role, hybrid or full remote work is available.

Responsibilities:

• Leading, mentoring and supporting other developers
• Defining the technical vision and roadmap of the products
• Helping with the design and development of software
• Delivering micro-services to support back-end-integration
• Revise and assist implement development standards and processes
• Adding new features to software and troubleshooting existing features
• Provide post production support
• Accept responsibility and ownership for special project as assigned
• Potentially assist with Mobile applications

Who Are you?

• Experience developing APIs and RESTfull services
• Angular experience is a plus
• Any combination of back-end, front-end and / or cloud development
• Have excellent leadership skills, coordination abilities and motivational skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skill with the ability to work with diverse cross-functional teams
• Organized with great time management skills, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
• Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
