Office 365 Administrator

Job Title: Office 365 Administrator

Location:  Canada, Remote (only Eastern Time-Zone)

Reports to: Director, Infrastructure Systems

What You’ll Do 

  • Explore new and existing Microsoft-based cloud technologies to meet the changing needs of our customers 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve various system and application errors, as required 
  • Manage Office 365 security administration in collaboration with the IT Security team 
  • Resolve incidents, service requests, and project requests via the IT ticket tracking system and the various IT logs
  • Work with cross-functional teams on issue escalations 
  • Help our customers manage and onboard devices using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune)
  • Escalate Office 365 tickets to Microsoft and collaborate with others on the team regarding support issues
  • Participate in customer-facing and internal projects, while assisting with the technical engineering and operationalization of Office 365 solutions
  • Create and maintain documentation of new solutions, tools, and practices


  • Be professional, friendly, and articulate in your communication and troubleshooting skills
  • Some fluency of a programming or scripting language, ideally PowerShell
  • Eager to take on new tasks/responsibilities and has passion for customer experience, operational excellence, and continuous development
  • 3-5 years' experience in Information Technologies, or other related area with 1-3 years of experience supporting Office 365 applications
  • Administrative understanding of DNS, Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams
  • Administrative knowledge of Microsoft Security practices using Active Directory, Azure AD, and Office 365 Online groups
  • 3+ years Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft IIS, Microsoft Internet Explorer, and network concepts
  • Availability for on-call rotations (for APAC support)


  • Experience in a multi-tenant managed hosting or managed services department
  • Experience with the Microsoft CSP portal
  • Experience with SSO/Okta integrations
  • Knowledge of iOS, Mac OS, and Android
  • Preference is EST hours
