StarTech.com is currently looking for a Graphic Designer to join our growing Product Information team.
Reporting to the Manager, Product Visuals, the Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating product and package artwork for both new and in-life StarTech.com products. This independent role requires clarifying product specific details and then consistently following self-maintained standards and templates to create graphic design assets.

In This Role You Will:
- Maintain product faceplate standards and best practices based on Visual Brand Language guidelines
- Create product ID labels and product packaging labels based on templates and create custom designs as needed
- Maintain visual asset database of logos, icons, fonts, and labels for use in artwork creation
- Manage artwork files for review, reference, and sharing with vendors
- Update or re-create artwork files for Product Change Notifications and In-Life update projects
- Conceptualize and create enhanced visual images for galleries and A+ digital content that effectively communicate product features and performance (mix of photos, annotations, charts, and other graphics)
- Research best in class industry standards for IT product graphic design and competitor visuals
- Collaborate with other teams to clarify information and prioritize projects
- Utilize your creative and problem-solving skills to ensure product visuals are effective and clearly communicate key product features and the StarTech.com brand.
Your Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Graphic Design or a related discipline
- Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in the graphic design field
- Demonstrated excellence in visual asset creation
- Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge and proficiency in all aspects of graphic design: layout, typography, colour theory, and production processes
- Understanding of faceplate dielines and branding of 3D products on to 2D technical drawings
- Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience using project management platforms such as Asana is beneficial
- Proven organization, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize while working on many projects at once
