Department Overview

Business Shared Services Technology Solutions (BSSTS) is a segment under TD’s Customer Platforms and Enterprise Technology Enablement (CPET) division, where teams such as: Contact Centre, ATM and Customer Assistance have come together to support the Shared Services mandate.

The Customer Assistance Technology team is responsible for the application strategy, development and support of the Customer Assistance business applications used for collecting on delinquent and written off TDCT and TDAF products as well as MBNA credit cards. The team focuses on technology planning, application design, development, integration, SME consultation and production support. This role is an exciting opportunity to join the Customer Assistance technology team within BSSTS as a Technology Delivery Lead.

 

Job Description

As a key member of the team, the successful candidate will be required to work with a highly interactive team and will be responsible for the delivery of CA technology projects and manage a team of leads responsible for supporting project delivery. Plan, manage and deliver distinct projects through all specific phases, in alignment with business and/or enterprise strategies. Provide leadership, direction and coaching to teams(s) while partnering with business and executive stakeholders within a single or across multiple Lines of Business.

 

 

 

 

 

Accountabilities and Experience:

 

7 + years of experience in Technology Project Management and / or Delivery including financial management (Clarity) and project health status reporting.

 

Manage a small team of TDLs and BSAs responsible for CA project delivery

 

Assist in leading projects including implementations with 3rd party solutions, and internal cross platform dependent solutions.

 

Ability to demonstrate the technical solution’s design in interview process (includes architecture, security, data considerations)

 

Experience in distributed and host/mainframe technologies including currency upgrades, new development, cross application integrations with various lines of business (MTG, LON, HELOC, ULOC, etc.) is required.

 

Facilitate decisions with respect to solution, architecture and potential options & risks which will have downstream impact in cost and scalability.

 

Participate in business planning discussions and define the technology delivery approach, including cross applications / teams’ integration, and/or release co-ordination

 

Ensure the alignment of solution design to comply with enterprise standards and meet enterprise or segment TS strategic direction (e.g. TOM; enterprise assets)

 

Act as an integrator of solutions; provide a flexible approach by offering and negotiating options with the clients that assure the appropriate balance between service levels, cost and risk

 

Oversee and support the demand management process from intake through final approval and initiation of delivery execution with respective management teams / business partners / stakeholders

 

Work closely with IT leadership and architecture to ensure on-going focus on reusability, scalability, and enterprise-wide solutions, to maximize returns on the suite of products

 

Advanced knowledge of the business and bank technology standards (e.g., infrastructure, architecture, processes, applications) from a strategic perspective and managing/ directing teams and projects

 

Agile Delivery Experience would be an asset

 

Demonstrate understanding of the business or acumen to pick up the business knowledge of banking

 

Experience with estimation models and ability to guide team to come with end to end estimations
