Business Development Representative (Remote)


Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a growing company in the cybersecurity industry? Digital Boundary Group is seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to join our team!


At Digital Boundary Group, we specialize in security assessments and penetration testing. We have an amazing team of bright, talented, experienced people who are driven to learn and grow. Our sales team is a group of high performers who believe in DBG’s service offerings and are passionate about helping organizations all over the world improve their security posture.


This position is available to be fully remote with occasional in-person meetings, or in one of our offices (London, Ontario or Dallas, Texas). This position requires travel to attend conferences and meet clients. The ideal candidate is comfortable with regular travel and has excellent communication and networking skills.


As a key member of our sales team, you will get to:

  • Use skills and experience gained from your previous professional services sales experience and training to locate and pursue sales opportunities, building DBG’s market position.
  • Use your stellar interpersonal skills to build relationships with decision-makers within existing accounts and establish DBG as a trusted advisor.
  • Utilize your exceptional presentation skills and creativity to grow your sector, engaging potential clients at industry conferences and events and following up on leads to ultimately negotiate and close sales.
  • Write business proposals using your top-notch English writing skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Work closely with Security Specialists and Project Management to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Use your research skills to gain market knowledge and a full understanding of our services to strengthen your ability to achieve or exceed your annual sales goals.

What kind of experience should you have?

  • 2+ years of previous B2B professional service sales experience
  • Previous technical experience is an asset
  • Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Commerce or related field, or equivalent training and commensurate work experience
