What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a Production Designer who will help complement our passion for design.

The Production Designer will use their experience to ask questions and prepare files that match the client’s brand standards. They are responsible for producing high-quality design work from concept to completion in the creation of a client’s promotional or ecommerce materials. This role will be required to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders on a tightly-knit team of fellow designers.

Full time remote is available nationally (Canada only). For those close to our office in London, ON we have flexible office hours based on training and collaboration needs.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for building and managing enterprise-level digital artwork, including (but not limited to): emails, web banners, advertisements, app banners, and web/landing page designs.
  • Produce digital art based on supplied creative from clients and channel partner specifications.
  • Provide design output for new concepts and campaigns based on requirements.
  • Learn and follow brand standards, maintaining consistency of brand guidelines and tone in all designs.
  • Test graphics across various media, ensuring final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
  • Support project quality control, including brand consistency, at all stages of the process to reduce the revision cycle
  • Manage project priorities
  • Assist with development and maintenance of a digital asset management system
  • Organize and maintain client project folders for the design team
  • May involve strategizing and planning when opportunities arise

Knowledge, Education, & Experience Required

  • 2+ years of graphic design experience in a professional setting
  • A College diploma, University degree, or relevant job-related experience
  • Extensive skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.), PDF form creation and optimization, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and the ability to quickly learn new software; knowledge of various Google Applications
  • Experience with animation/motion graphics in After Effects and web design using Sketch is an asset
  • Strong understanding of design principles and methodologies; proficient in digital/web production and design, and is comfortable with file type best practices (file optimization, correct file format[s] to use, etc.)
  • Loves the details: is driven by technical design, has an eye for consistency, and a general knack for organization
  • Ability to shift priorities and reallocate resources effectively to achieve client deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Precise attention to detail and experience adhering to brand guidelines
  • Ability to organize and present information
  • Effective organizational and time management skills
  • Digitally savvy with a genuine interest in motivating teammates to do the best work they can
