Reporting to the Manager, Clinical Solutions, the Systems Analyst, Clinical Systems Support will be a member of our PowerChart Clinical Documentation team, and plays a key role in the quality assurance, strategic planning, maintenance and support of the PowerChart Clinical Documentation Solutions including iView, Powerforms, Flowsheets, Dynamic Documentation, Problems & Diagnoses, and Smart Templates. The Systems Analyst will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the team’s documentation, including build guides, test scripts, and architecture diagrams. This role will provide an advanced level of technical support to the team and end users, and will serve as a subject matter expert within the department, escalating to the Business Systems Analyst as required.
Regular Full-Time
Rate of Pay: $39.92 - $49.89 per hour
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week
Qualifications
- College Diploma in Computer Systems Technology or Health-related field (Pharmacy, Nursing, Health Information Management, etc.); Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Applicable registration or licensing, where regulatory body exists
- Minimum 3 years of recent and related work experience
- Experience with established applicable clinical processes, nomenclature and hospital environment
- Advanced analysis, testing and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with formal change management processes
- Recent and relevant experience with Cerner Millennium or other clinical applications as applicable to the role an asset
- Computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite
- Information technology security - ability to maintain integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to the principles of patient and family centred care
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to patient and staff safety
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC’s Mission, Vision and Values
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
Immunization Requirements:
- Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/ Diphtheria/Polio; Meningitis.
- Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step) and COVID vaccine series.
