Join our team as the Director of CRM and Lifecycle Marketing, where you will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of our digital marketing initiatives. You will lead a very talented team of digital marketing professionals disciplined in email, content and SEO to develop and implement innovative strategies that drive customer engagement and retention. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and success of key projects for our clients. And lead reporting and analysis efforts to gain actionable insights and demonstrate value to stakeholders.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead a dynamic team of Email, SEO, Social & Content Strategists, fostering their growth and development.
  • Provide oversight and strategic direction for our portfolio of digital marketing clients, ensuring the department is meeting performance objectives and utilizing proper lifecycle marketing strategies and tactics
  • Develop and maintain best in class digital marketing solutions for Email & Retention marketing by staying current on best practices and trends
  • Hold the team accountable for high-quality deliverables, including defining and enforcing quality standards and reviewing outputs for optimal results
  • Act as a thought leader, overseeing multi-channel marketing initiatives across Email, Social, SEO, and Loyalty.
  • Lead segmentation strategies to increase engagement and reduce churn.
  • Collaborate with senior SEO strategists to increase organic traffic and online visibility.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments,such as creative, paid media & advertising, project management, CRO, and web development to ensure a unified approach to client projects.
  • Organize and deliver training sessions and workshops for the marketing team on industry best practices, industry trends and creative thinking techniques.
  • Lead reporting processes specific to areas of Email/CRM, Retention & Loyalty, Content & SEO to gain actionable insights and demonstrate value/ROI to clients
  • Manage the hiring, resource allocation, performance, and professional development within the team.
  • Drive process optimization to increase the speed and agility of our teams


 

Knowledge, Education & Experience Required

  • 8+ years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in B2C and eCommerce
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a management role
  • Advanced experience with email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and/or Adobe Campaign
  • Strong understanding of SEO strategies and tactics, as well as the impact of SEO to a digital experience
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with attribution platforms such as TripleWhale, North Beam, Google Analytics
  • Proficiency with HTML, MJML, CSS and/or responsive email coding
  • A College diploma, University degree, or relevant job-related experience. We welcome highly experienced, self-taught, and self-motivated learners who express a strong passion for digital marketing
  • Demonstrated knowledge of CASL, CAN-SPAM, and GDPR compliance
  • Proficiency with customer data management, measuring channel metrics and performance, and monitoring deliverability
