OneChart ITS Technical Analyst - Bedside Device Integration (Multiple Positions)
Bedside Device Integration
Accountable to the Manager, Data Integration, the Technical Analyst works within ITS and BioMedical Engineering conducting system application and network troubleshooting, testing software patches, supporting upgrades and system implementations for various electronic health applications and technology. The Technical Analyst will work closely with clinicians, providers, staff and vendors. The Technical Analyst is one of the key Information Technology Services contact points for the BioMedical Engineering teams in London.
The technical Analyst will work closely with the Bedside Device Integration team and the Interface team to support device integration with the Oracle Cerner electronic health record system supporting all 11 partner hospitals when needed.
Permanent Full-Time
- Rate of Pay: $39.92 per hour to $49.89 per hour
- Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week
Qualifications
- Successful completion of a three (3) year Community College diploma in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 3 years recent and IT related work experience
- Advanced networking skills; Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of Cyber Security practices preferred
- Advanced knowledge of and ability to use a variety of software applications (Microsoft Office Suite, Report Builder), programming languages and tools (SQL, Visual Basic) preferred
- Experience with Oracle Cerner and/or other electronic clinical systems preferred
- Experience with Connexall and/or Nurse Call integration preferred
- Experience or training in BioMedical Engineering an asset
- Demonstrated ability to assimilate a large quantity of diverse information, and extract the information required to produce a resolution in a technology-based environment
- Flexible, adaptable and able to prioritize and manage change; works effectively in a fast-paced and evolving work environment
- Advanced ability to interact with others with diplomacy, tact and professionalism
- Advanced ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Demonstrated strong skills in process-centric thinking
- Advanced commitment to customer service
- Overtime and possible on-call coverage may be required
- Occasional multi-site travel required

Immunization Requirements:
- Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/ Diphtheria/Polio; Meningitis.
- Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step) and COVID vaccine series.
